Personal Care

A home care Caregiver will help with the activities of daily living which often involve personal care, and support. Personal care is assistance with personal hygiene, washing, showering, bathing, dressing, feeding and toileting. We all age in different ways, with different needs, at different times. Having someone in addition to family or friends can be a significant addition to a person’s quality of life.

Companion Services

More than friendly conversation, a professional Caregiver offers person-centered care with a focus on the vital role of companionship. We understand how important it is for non-medical senior care to make your loved one feel valued and engaged. Knowing there is someone reliable, trustworthy, and interested in who we are is one of the greatest comforts we give those we serve.

Home Help

Caregivers assist with taking care of the home, kitchen, and bathroom and with household activities such as cleaning, laundry services, grocery shopping, putting groceries away and cleaning up.

Home Care (Non-Medical)

Traditional Home Care doesn’t require a licensed professional or a physician’s prescription. A homecare worker also known as a Direct Care Worker (DCW) can help a person with activities of daily living (ADLs) like remembering to take medications, preparing meals, transferring from a chair, toilet or bed, bathing, getting dressed, light housekeeping or transportation to and from doctor’s appointments.

Our DCW worker can also provide companionship to an older adult or an adult with a disability – engaging in a favorite hobby, watching movies or simply conversing about their past or the events of the day.

Home care is a cost-effective alternative to hospital and nursing home stays. Home care services are provided through a variety of home care providers, whether independently owned or associated with hospitals, public health departments or national companies.

Why Home Care?

Making decisions on providing care for a loved one can be overwhelming. How do you know what’s right for your family’s unique situation? Is in-home care the right solution? Or does your loved one need more? This service is intended to assist an individual to participate more meaningfully in home and community life. It is provided to individuals living in private homes for the purposes of providing supervision or assistance that is designed to ensure the individual’s health, safety and welfare or to perform activities of daily living for the individual.
